realsea marine camo

wet suit

When man first ventured into the sea he realized there were dangers involved. The recent shark attacks in Florida and around the world make these dangers all the more real.

Since the sinking of the USS Indianapolis at the end of WW11 and the loss of over 600 sailors by sharks, millions of dollars have been spent to develop a shark repellent. Even with modern technology there still is not a reliable shark repellent.

In theory the possible partial solution to this is simple, not to produce an expensive and unreliable repellent but to develop an affordable type of concealment. Sharks are complex creatures and concealment alone will not guarantee your safety but just as deer hunting camo gives you an advantage and boosts your confidence why wouldn't a marine camo do the same.

Most attacks by marine predators happen at or just below the surface. This is when we are most vulnerable. With modern divers in black wet suits we look like seals. Surfers look like turtles or marine mammals floating on the surface. Swimmers and snorkelers look like balls of baitfish thrashing about in shallow water. After many close encounters with sharks I sure wish I had something other than just my speargun, a black wetsuit or bright colored swim suit to give me an advantage.

RealSea marine camo would be the perfect solution to give me some type of concealment and a psychological edge.

The camo fad is growing. RealSea will become the next generation of Camo wear!
